New changes, hmm? What's next? *ponders possible changes*

Believe what you want, but I think honor is very important on the field of battle. I feel that morals and honor are what separate the right from the wrong, the civilized from the savage.

TVtropes, the ultimate timesink.

@Napo: Weeding is really annoying.

Honor is what brought about modern military and the Geneva Convention. It might sound nice to torture enemy soldiers, but if you were the captive, I doubt you'd appreciate it. :9 Even in your favorite era, Mac, the Middle Ages and the Vikings, honor, glory, and plunder were the three main reasons for combat. *waves axe as long hair blows majestically in the Norse wind* ;9

@SM: I don't believe anything is automatically classified as right and wrong. We decide what is right and wrong, and some of us would rather exploit that than follow those rules. Luckily for everyone I highly doubt that I'll ever hold a position of political power.

@Napo: Medieval is not my favorite time period. Also, Vikings sense of honor was very very loose. They had courts and all that stuff, but most of the time people decided to settle disputes with axes rather than words. I consider that being ruthlessly efficient. A man is suing you? You could go to court, or you could go to his house and burn it down with him in it. I prefer the second option.

I'm going to rephrase my statement a little bit. Honor and mercy have no place on the battlefield except as tools to be used by the willing.

So we now have a 60 inch TV, but it's from 1999, and it's pretty big. I've seen bigger ones from that time though, so I'm assuming it was pretty high end for its time. It also doesn't have as much of a glare issue as other TVs from 1999 either. Finally, you can view it from all angles. A lot of big screen TVs from the 90s were only watchable if you were viewing straight on. Completely straight on. You need to be at 90 degree angle with the tv. 80 or 70 degrees? Nope. Had to be straight on.

Lol, I challenge you to a duel, sah! Pistols or sabres? :9

We have a massive TV we got for absolutely free from my dad's boss. It's like four feet wide and two feet thick. Bloody heavy, I'll tell you, too. Ugh, when we had to move that from one room to another...

We had to move this one from our neighbors garage to our house. Then we had to navigate through a greenhouse with a 30x8 ft pool. The walkway surrounding the pool is 3 ft wide, and this tv (like all old TVs) has an awful awful center of balance since much of the equipment that operates it is house in the very back. Then we had to rotate and carry it up some steps without dropping it in our pool. Also it's over a hundred degrees outside, and we were being attacked by angry wasps the whole time because we destroyed to of their nests that were in two bikes that needed to be moved so we could fit the TV through the door.

I do not accept your duel, and I have dispatched an assassin to murder you discreetly.

I've never been stung once by any bee/wasp/hornet. Ever. :D

An assassin? Well, if I have to go out, I hope it's a Russian guy named Dmitri who'll make my end epic. :9

You wont see it coming. I said discreetly. Radiation poisoning or something.

Speaking of murder. I want to kill the person on my TV right now. She's in her 50's at least, but she's talking like a teenage girl... Ugh.
