The first AC stinks compared to all the others. ;) They improve stealth drastically every time.

@SM: AC is actually science-fiction, so naturally some of it's going to be over the top. I mean, aliens are a central part of the plot. :9

EDIT: Posted the first chapter of a new drama in the Scriptorium. Should go for about six chapters.

Yeah I gotta say on the whole SF background... I thought the Animus was cool, and the genetic memories idea was pretty fun. But once I picked up on the SF elements within the historical portion it started nagging me, so I looked up the plot from ACII... not really my cup of tea, I think. Reminds me of the Ancient Aliens guy from the History channel.

I like the setting of the first AC best though. The historical portion, I mean. The Renaissance doesn't do as much for me, and the Colonial period even less.

How is that game? I have Thief Gold, but it complains about not having DirectX 9, I think.

It's great, but it can be hard to get running on a newer computer. Steam has it though. That version is probably made to work on newer computers more easily. It's pretty cheap too. 6 bucks. 17 for all three games. 50 for the Square Enix Hit Collection which includes all three plus like all the Tomb Raider games, Hitman 1 & 2, all three Deus Ex, Just Cause 2, and Quantum Conundrum, and the DLC for most of those.

Relevant trope!

OMG i ctrl+c'd your post dude wrote:
It seemed to work really well for Genghis Khan. If they don't decide to join you then they get no mercy.

I suppose good old Genghis serves as a shining light regarding most matters of warfare. I'd be likely to list the guy among the greatest persons of all time.

Isn't there supposedly like a 6% chance that anyone with Asian or European ancestry is related to Genghis Khan?

@Alby: I too love me the Khan. The fact that around 1% of the whole world's population is descended from him says something about his success.

@SV: Gee. Thanks. Now I'm stuck on TVTropes. So much completely useless information, and I now have to read it all.

@SV: Well, considering I'd find the Ancient Aliens show absolutely fantastic if they said they weren't serious, I'm okay with it. :9 That History Channel guy fantastic hair. Hahaha.

There will be more changes coming to the forums. Some may not be entirely popular. Rest assured, the Scriptorium will not be harmed :P

Possibly because you didn't post in any of the topics I deleted.

My God... It's three o'clock? I really did get sucked into TVTropes... I could swear I was only on there for a half hour.
