Originating as simple beaters used for cultural, ritual and entertainment purposes, the modern Drumstick dates back to the use of percussion instruments that were used to provide rhythm to musical performances during the Middle Ages. The simple shape consists of a shaft, shoulder and tip - or bead. Players use two sticks at a time to pound the drum set. No drummer should be without a set of these to toss into the crowd at the end of a show. Gladiator Mask - Red
Masks were often worn during the gladiatorial events to reduce the crowds' affinity with the warriors' identities. Of course the Gladiator Mask was also great for protection - even though it could be quite stifling and hinder peripheral vision. Perhaps what it lacked in function, it made up in form; opponents would never know where the eyes were looking, and the completely alien nature of the mask had to be unsettling. Combine with our Gladiator Helmet to assemble a diverse group of those that will salute you!

Double Plume - Red
Often secured atop a gentleman's hat or uniform headdress the plume signified a token of honor or achievement. Plumes were also placed atop military helmets to denote the rank of the wearer. Such ornaments were mainly plucked from prominent or rare species of bird. The classic Double Plume design features opposite, flowing feathers and a diameter that allows for a standard minifig grip. Spiked Mace - Red
The Spiked Mace was designed specifically for crushing armor and breaking bones. During the Middle Ages metal armor and chainmail protected against the blows of edged weapons such as swords and arrows. Maces, however, were engineered with an imbalanced center of gravity which concentrated the force of the blow to the points inflicting damage without penetrating the armor. Trident - Red
The Trident gets its name from the Latin three-teeth and was originally used by fishermen to skewer multiple fish at a time. Not unlike many other hunting untensils the Trident naturally found combat use as a military weapon. Hailed for its long reach and ability to trap other weapons between its prongs they were used fondly by gladiators to disarm opponents and deliver the final blow. Trident fits most standard minifig hands.
