Perhaps the most ubiquitous symbol associated with the Native Americans is the Tomahawk. The name was derived from an algonquian word 'tamahakan'; referring to an implement with a stone-head lashed with thongs to a wooden handle. Later, European-made iron or steel hatchets called trade tomahawks began to replace the stone weapons. Primarily used to chop wood and drive stakes into the ground, warriors also used their Tomahawks as clubs during hand-to-hand combat or threw them at their enemies from a distance. The tomahawk also had symbolic, ceremonial uses. It was laid on the ground at council meetings of some tribes. When the war leader took up the Tomahawk it meant that a decision for war was approved. To bury the tomahawk or 'bury the hatchet' meant an end to warfare.  Fits most standard minifig hands.

The Trident gets its name from the Latin three-teeth and was originally used by fishermen to skewer multiple fish at a time. Not unlike many other hunting untensils the Trident naturally found combat use as a military weapon. Hailed for its long reach and ability to trap other weapons between its prongs they were used fondly by gladiators to disarm opponents and deliver the final blow. Trident fits most standard minifig hands.

A variety of headgear was seen throughout the history of the eastern world. The Turban was easily the most ubiquitous and indicated an individual's origin, religion and status. The imamah adhahaba form of turban is wound around a small qalansuwah hat - just visible on top - and the ends of the turban-cloth hang loose to form a rafraf. Such turbans were worn by sultans and nobles during the Crusades, often wrapping them around their battle helmets or decorative diadems. A belt is an adjustable band, made of either leather or a type of cloth, worn around the waist. It generally serves the purpose of supporting clothing items that would otherwise become too loose, particularly trousers, tunics or robes. Over time people found that belts were a great way to attach purses, weapons and other belongings of the wearer. A Utility Belt features pockets or loops to carry items the wearer needs for prompt use. Police officers, soldiers, repair personnel and the occasional super hero are typical roles which use such a belt. Four flexible holsters, molded directly into the belt, will hold most minifig accessories such as swords, guns or other types of minifig accessories. A standard 1x1 connection point on the front even lets you add your own decorative 'buckle'. Utility Belt fits over most standard minifig hips. Holster size is approximately 3mm x 2.35mm and fits accessories 3mm (or less) in diameter comfortably.

Our soft ABS plastic contains an additive making it flexible - but not stretchable. Excess tugging, twisting and attempts to fit bigger-than-intended elements inside holster slots may result in tearing. Pieces broken due to excessive play are not eligible for replacement.

Despite stringed instruments being around for thousands of years, bowed instruments are a fairly new invention. It is believed that the talented horse-mounted warriors of Central Asia circa 10th century used their hunting bows to play stringed instruments. Simpler devices/instruments were developed and quickly spread into the Far East, India & Europe via the Silk Road. The Violin in its present form emerged in early 16th century Northern Italy where it became popular both among street musicians and the nobility. A Violin typically consists of: belly, bridge, neck, strings, tuning pegs, scroll and optional chin rest. Bring your minifig orchestra to life or spend an afternoon on the porch fiddling' around with this elegant accessory. Fits most standard minifig hands.

Often derided as a 'skirt', the Waist Armor's abitlity to protect against low-flying shrapnel - as well as harsh environmental elements - won out over any disparaging criticism. Add the Waist Armor to a medieval minifig to replicate a fancy surcoat, or strap it onto a galactic jet trooper to rebuff jetpack downwash. The Waist Armor is made of flexible plastic to increase posability - even allowing the minifig to sit down. The Walkie-Talkie (formally known as a handheld transceiver) is a hand-held, portable, two-way radio transceiver. Developed during the Second World War similar designs were created after the war for such applications as public safety and jobsite work. Walkie-Talkies are now widely used in any setting where compact communications are necessary, including business, law enforcement, outdoor recreation and heavy industry. Consumer models make the Walkie-Talkie fairly ubiquitous, even as toys among young children. Fits most standard minifig hand.

Give traffic a heads up with the Warning Light. Attach to most standard 5mm connection points to decorate emergency vehicles or illuminated space ships. Works great with LifeLites!
