A Compound Bow is a modern bow that uses an assisted levering system, usually of cables and pulleys, to bend the limbs. The added force makes it the first choice among hunters and misunderstood ex-military types (mission accomplished!). The bow features iconic rugged curves and split notches to assist in posing your favorite BrickForge Arrows (available separately). Fits most standard minifig hands.

Not really known for their stylish hair-dos (probably because they always wear a helmet) Dwarf Beards are a sign of pride and recognition. Many believe that the source of the dwarf's strength and innovation comes from their beard and that washing them diminishes that power, therefore many have never washed their beards in their lives. There’s also that old dwarven insult to take into consideration, “I defecate upon thy beard!” which many dwarves have been known to make good on. The Dwarf Beard fits most standard minifig head/torso combinations.

Evolving from the ancient bronze and iron edged weapons of the Hittites and Celts the Gladius became the blade that won the lands of the Roman Empire. Gladius is literally Latin for "sword" and emerged from the Iron Age to be used by Roman Legionaries from the 3rd century BC. The common Gladius was straight and double-edged, with a sharp V-shaped pointed tip and a rhomboid cross section - ideal for short, powerful thrusts. Fits most standard minifig hands.

A staple of pistoliers everywhere, the Gunbelt was an essential piece of equipment in the Old West & beyond. Holsters mounted on a belt started showing up in the 1840's from enterprising leatherworkers and saddlesmiths. Gunbelt holsters came in many forms, the Slim Jim, Mexican Loop and Buscadero to name a few. The BrickForge Gunbelt is of standard design with a pliable holster molded directly into the belt. Fitting between the minifig torso & hip pieces the Gunbelt not only secures your favorite firearm but is also ideal for other weapons & equipment like the BrickForge Nightstick. Holster size is approximately 3mm x 2.35mm and fits accessories 3mm (or less) in diameter comfortably.

BrickForge's Knights Shield is in essence an elongated heater shield based on a late 12th century design when kite shields were becoming shorter and more triangular. Perfect for your wandering crusader or hung in the Great Hall sporting his coat of arms. Knights Shield is smithed without a center boss and smooth surface so you can apply your own design using decals, paints or other preferred types of mediums. Flat inside consists of a centered, standard minifig grip.

It was the first weapon of its class, and the concept had a major impact on modern infantry small arms development. The Pilum is a heavy javelin commonly used by Roman Legionaries in ancient times. Standard tactics called for a soldier to throw his Pilum at the enemy just before charging to engage with his Gladius. The small point could penetrate a shield and wound the man behind it, or even pierce armor. It has often been said that the Pilum was designed to get stuck in an enemy's shield, forcing him to discard it. Combine the Pilum with our Roman Shield or either of our Roman Helmets to draft your own brigade. Fits most standard minifig hands.

Early bows had a fairly basic shape and were made of carved or flat planes of wood. The Recurve Bow took physics to the next level by utilizing composite materials and a unique double-rounded shape. The additional curves store more energy than an equivalent straight-limbed bow, potentially giving a greater amount of cast to the arrow. Such a design permits a shorter, compact bow - ideal for archers on horseback or traveling through thick forest terrain. Grooves on upper and lower limbs allow you to actually string the Recurve Bow using fishing line or thread. Fits most standard minifig hands.

Glass was accidentally discovered by Phoenician merchants after they placed red hot cooking pots on stones consisting of nitrate. The nitrate melted and mixed with the sandy beach to form an opaque liquid. Over the next millennium jar makers used this liquid to glaze pots & vases until the art of glassblowing introduced all glass containers. Fast-forward several hundred of years to the industrial revolution when the Round Bottle was used all over to contain concoctions ranging from spirits to snake-oil. These vital vessels are useful in any environment and feature five standard connection points useful for gripping, stacking, capping or attaching other compatible elements. Fits most standard minifig hands.

Originating in ancient Egypt as a threshing tool, a Scourge is a whip or lash generally used to inflict severe corporal punishment or self-mortification. The typical scourge has several thongs fastened to a handle; at the end of which are tied thick, heavy knots. The Roman scourge, also called a flagellum, was often braided with a number of small metal pieces causing punishment to be particularly dreadful. A flogger with hooks at the ends was called a scorpion while one with nine thongs was called a cat o' nine tails. Whatever your application, this device is sure to bring offending minifigs down a notch. Scourge fits most standard minifig hands.
