Originating as simple beaters used for cultural, ritual and entertainment purposes, the modern Drumstick dates back to the use of percussion instruments that were used to provide rhythm to musical performances during the Middle Ages. The simple shape consists of a shaft, shoulder and tip - or bead. Players use two sticks at a time to pound the drum set. No drummer should be without a set of these to toss into the crowd at the end of a show. Not really known for their stylish hair-dos (probably because they always wear a helmet) Dwarf Beards are a sign of pride and recognition. Many believe that the source of the dwarf's strength and innovation comes from their beard and that washing them diminishes that power, therefore many have never washed their beards in their lives. There’s also that old dwarven insult to take into consideration, “I defecate upon thy beard!” which many dwarves have been known to make good on. The Dwarf Beard fits most standard minifig head/torso combinations.

The guitar is an ancient and noble instrument, whose history can be traced back over 4000 years. The need for an amplified guitar became apparent during the big band era, as orchestras increased in size: particularly when guitars had to compete with large brass sections.The guitar was one of the best candidates for amplification due to its acoustic properties and for its potential as a polyphonic solo instrument. The strings pass vibrations through the bridge to the magnet and coil, which register those vibrations and pass the electric signal on to an amplifier. Our Electric Guitar features realistic detail and a rounded neck for easy grip. The reverse side has a standard connection point for when your traveling minifig musician needs to sling it onto his back.

For the most skillful fighters, the Elven Blade is light and sharp, and transforms any ordinary warrior on the battlefield into a force to be reckoned with. Unlike other weapons such as spear or axe, a these blades can't simply be assembled, it has to be forged and carefully tempered which requires dedicated labor and skill. Perhaps the most ancient of arms, the spear was originally used for hunting and fishing prior to its use as a fairly versatile military weapon. The Falcata is a type of sword typical of Pre-Roman Hispania, similar to the Greek Kopis and developed from the Canaan/Egyptian Khopesh. Designed for delivering strong cleaving blows the Falcata has a one-edged blade that pitches forward towards the point, the edge being concave on the lower part and convex on top. Great for hoplites, gladiators or dual-wielding assassins! Fits most standard minifig hands.

The Great Helm of the High Middle Ages arose in the late 12th century in the context of the crusades and remained in use until the 14th century. They were used by knights and heavy infantry in most European armies. In its simplest form, the great helm was a flat-topped cylinder of steel that completely covered the head and had only very small openings for the eyes and mouth. Later designs gained more of a curved design, particularly on the top, to deflect or lessen the impact of blows. Our soft ABS plastic contains an additive making it flexible - but not stretchable. Excess tugging and twisting may result in tearing. Pieces broken due to excessive play are not eligible for replacement.
