A Backpack is, in its simplest form, a fabric sack carried on the back; secured with types of straps. Backpacks are often preferred to handbags for hauling larger loads, because of the increased capacity to carry heavy weights for long periods of time. In ancient times, the Backpack was used as a means to carry the hunter's larger game and other types of prey as a way of easier transport. Modern uses include stowing tactical gear, food and camping equipment. Two standard-size clips allow your fig to carry all sorts of compatible accessories. Backpack fits most standard minifig torsos & 1x1 connection points.

The oldest form of shield was a protection device used to block attacks by hand weapons such as swords, axes and maces or missiles like spears and arrows. Whereas light shields could block glancing blows, heavier ones like the Battle Shield turned ordinary infantry into an immovable wall. Traditionally made of wood and covered in bronze the sheer weight made it a dangerous weapon. A thrust forward with the shield could knock an opponent down, setting up for an easy kill. A strike from the shield's edge was deadly, as it could break bones and fatally fracture the skull. The Battle Shield is cast with a smooth surface on the outside so you can apply your own insignia using decals, paints or other preferred medium. Flat inside consists of a centered, standard minifig grip.

The brightly dyed horsehair plumes attached to ancient helmets were mainly designed to make the warrior appear taller and more menacing. In later periods when the concept of uniforms and ranks began to develop plumes also served as a badge of rank. Promote your Greek or Roman warrior up through the ranks using one of our colorful Officer Plumes. Engineered to fit both our Centurion Helmet & Hoplite Helmet, these plumes can also fit on most standard plume sockets.

Often secured atop a gentleman's hat or uniform headdress the plume signified a token of honor or achievement. Plumes were also placed atop military helmets to denote the rank of the wearer. Such ornaments were mainly plucked from prominent or rare species of bird. The classic Double Plume design features opposite, flowing feathers and a diameter that allows for a standard minifig grip. Peg is designed to fit most traditional plume sockets including our own Dwarf Helmet , Elven Helmet, Great Helm, & Hoplite Helmet.

A Headlamp is a flashlight worn on the head for hands-free operation in dark environments such as mines, underground caverns and smoke-filled rooms; which means your miner, spelunker and firefighter minifigs can concentrate on more important things while wearing this accessory. It's flexible design means it can fit over most minifig headgear such as helmets or hair. A standard 1x1 connection point lets you add our Lens Piece, Gemstone or other decorative piece. Inner dimensions are approximately 12.5mm in diameter.

Our soft ABS plastic contains an additive making it flexible - but not stretchable. Excess tugging and twisting may result in tearing. Pieces broken due to excessive play are not eligible for replacement.

Perhaps the most ubiquitous symbol associated with the Native Americans is the Tomahawk. The name was derived from an algonquian word 'tamahakan'; referring to an implement with a stone-head lashed with thongs to a wooden handle. Later, European-made iron or steel hatchets called trade tomahawks began to replace the stone weapons. Primarily used to chop wood and drive stakes into the ground, warriors also used their Tomahawks as clubs during hand-to-hand combat or threw them at their enemies from a distance. The tomahawk also had symbolic, ceremonial uses. It was laid on the ground at council meetings of some tribes. When the war leader took up the Tomahawk it meant that a decision for war was approved. To bury the tomahawk or 'bury the hatchet' meant an end to warfare.  Fits most standard minifig hands.

Minfigs only have two hands; and you can't seem to choose which effects to equip. The solution? Donning the pliable BrickForge Bandolier allows a minifig to carry up to an additional three accessories (double up for six additional slots)! The Bandolier is a type of large belt worn around either the left or right shoulder down across the chest & lower torso. In addition to storing extra ammunition and supplies it helps to distribute weigh off the hips for maximum mobility. Each of the flexible holsters is suitable to carry blades, guns or other types of minifig accessories. Bandolier fits across most standard minifigs and can stretch to fit some modified torso enhancements. Holster size is approximately 3mm x 2.35mm and fits accessories 3mm (or less) in diameter comfortably.

Typically used with a shield or buckler, the Military Sword, or arming sword, is the standard weapon given to infantry, militia and footmen. The Military Sword is overall a light, versatile weapon capable of both cut and thrust combat; and normally boasts excellent balance. It's simple construction allows for rapid production once the torches are lit and war drums start banging. Fits most standard minifig hands.

Vambraces are "tubular" type of defences for the forearm, developed first in the ancient world by the Romans, but only formally named during the early 14th century, as part of a suit of plate armour. They were made of either leather, sometimes reinforced with longitudinal strips of hardened hide or metal, or from a single piece of worked steel and worn with other pieces of armour. BrickForge Vambraces consist of separate left & right pieces that fit between the minifig hand and arm pieces to provide additional defense.

The Falcata is a type of sword typical of Pre-Roman Hispania, similar to the Greek Kopis and developed from the Canaan/Egyptian Khopesh. Designed for delivering strong cleaving blows the Falcata has a one-edged blade that pitches forward towards the point, the edge being concave on the lower part and convex on top. Great for hoplites, gladiators or dual-wielding assassins! Fits most standard minifig hands.
