Whether its cutting wood or hewing stone, axes are a testament to millenia of cutting tool implements. It stands to reason that such devices were naturally recruited for military use. Just like as their utilitarian counterparts, Battle Axes came in an array of shapes, sizes, designs & purpose. Lighter, single-blade axes were used in close melee combat, whereas longer pole axes were intended to stun and dismount cavalry. The BrickForge Battle axe is influenced by the labrys family of double-headed war axes found in many Mediterranean cultures. Battle Axe fits most standard minifig hands.

Cow - Tan (Jersey)
The Jersey Cow is a small, honey-brown breed of dairy cattle and is renowned for the high butterfat content of its milk, as well as a pleasant disposition. No farm should be without a few of these bovines strolling about the barnyard or grazing along the countryside. The BrickForge Jersey Cow features a 2-stud wide design, articulated head, 1x2 cut-out and custom screen print design reminiscent of the traditional Horse piece. Add an Udder for a splash of realism or a set of Horns to turn Bessie into Brutus. Cow comes preassembled, molded in Tan ABS plastic.

Not really known for their stylish hair-dos (probably because they always wear a helmet) Dwarf Beards are a sign of pride and recognition. Many believe that the source of the dwarf's strength and innovation comes from their beard and that washing them diminishes that power, therefore many have never washed their beards in their lives. There’s also that old dwarven insult to take into consideration, “I defecate upon thy beard!” which many dwarves have been known to make good on. The Falcata is a type of sword typical of Pre-Roman Hispania, similar to the Greek Kopis and developed from the Canaan/Egyptian Khopesh. Designed for delivering strong cleaving blows the Falcata has a one-edged blade that pitches forward towards the point, the edge being concave on the lower part and convex on top. Great Helm - Tan
The Great Helm of the High Middle Ages arose in the late 12th century in the context of the crusades and remained in use until the 14th century. They were used by knights and heavy infantry in most European armies. In its simplest form, the great helm was a flat-topped cylinder of steel that completely covered the head and had only very small openings for the eyes and mouth. Later designs gained more of a curved design, particularly on the top, to deflect or lessen the impact of blows.
