BrickForge :: Armor :: Neck Armor

Neck Armor

Neck Armor, more commonly known as a Gorget originally was a steel collar designed to protect the neck/throat. It was a feature of older types of armour and intended to protect against swords and other non-projectile weapons. Later, particularly from the 18th century onwards, the gorget became primarily ornamental, serving only as a symbolic accessory on military uniforms. The BrickForge Neck Armor was primarily made to allow for the use of Pauldrons but also allows the minifig head to sit down inside the actual piece to give the impression of additional armor.
