This is the light box my wife and I built. It was made for under $5 and you'll need the following.
Cardboard box
Tape
Scissors
Black Poster Board
White Poster Board
Tissue paper
2 lamps for each side (obviously not part of the under $5) ;)

It works great and I hope it's helpful to you. Enjoy.

Hmm, interesting build QBlade. I do not have a light-box, and now I will keep this design in mind for when I get ready to want to build one.
2 questions though:
1. What is the rough size of this box? It looks pretty good sized ...
2. Why the black posterboard?

Thanks,
mC

The box is approx. 24in x 13in x 11in. It was a free display box we got at a grocery store. The black poster board is to reflect the light from the sides. The tissue paper diffuses the light (and I think helps spread the light out).
