Wouldn't work, for a couple reasons.
1. CustomMinifigs.com was basically just that. Custom minifigs with BF accessories. Only problem was that it wasn't profitable enough to keep it running because people kept complaining about the pricing. And kits would be expensive.
2. It's friggin pricey.
Besides, BrickForge is already planning to have themed weapon/accessory packs so you can get more bang for your buck.
