Ok, here's the deal with this MOC. About 2 1/2 years ago I began an adventure with members on this forum. Some of you may remember it. The 4 particular members in this scene are Jackal, Shadow Viking, Slayer of Light, and Clone Bear. There was a card game type of thing I had invented, but that's off subject. In this scene, the 4 companions are about to enter a cave when they meet a few giant Rhino beetles that decide they might taste good. So here is a still shot of the encounter and then later I will have a follow up post based off of their actions (which I still have the results for after all this time;) ).

The individuals:

Gevallen - Jackal

Image
Gareth - Shadow Viking

Image
Reijin - Slayer of Light

Image
Alatrix - Clone Bear

Enjoy!!

Cool! 2 1/2 years is a long time to keep something. Will you be doing something like this again?

Thanks. Yea, I was planning on doing something similar with other themes maybe, but got side tracked. A murder in the family really took out my steam. I dunno if I will write a story type event for this, but it's a possibility. I just found my cards so I could continue the adventure, but won't be able to finish it today.

I do recall seeing this before. Or at least seeing an idea for it. I don't remember it ever taking root and actually happening. It looks cool and sounds fun.

Really cool MOC! Could you do one with my Sigfig in it once I post it?

And I'm sorry about the murder. :(

So I drew the cards and here are the results. I didn't go into detail about how this played out, but I was a little surprised at how it worked out.

Image
Gevallen drew first blood in a big way with a critical hit.

Image
Gareth finishes off this Rhino Beetle in a big way. (my fav picture) ;)

Image
Alatrix ends this Rhino Beetle's existence.

I drew the cards and The first card on Gevallen's attack was a critical, which meant it was the same card, but different suit. So I drew a damage card and doubled it and it ended up being the exact amount to kill that one. After a few misses and Reijin getting knocked to the ground, Gevallen hit the other Rhino Beetle and Gareth finished off the 2nd one. The third Rhino Beetle that had hit Reijin, (for minor damage) was hit by Alatrix. I happened to pull the exact card that Alatrix had for this hit and made it an instant kill. The card.....Ace of Spades 8o . I was surprised how quick this played out. I think it was about 4 rounds. Enjoy the photo's.

EDIT: I forgot to include the link

So how do the cards work out in this? Like what do you do for attacks, defense, etc.
