Welcome to ... the secret Geisha Garden ...
Here these ladies find peace, rest, and replenished spirit from the beauty of nature in a garden far away from prying eyes and demanding people.

other pics here: tree back, ladies trio 1, ladies trio 2, inside bridge, purple view, pink zen, red zen

This vig was another "must do" when I saw the Lego Kimono Girl.
All three ladies are on pivots, so that I could move them in the direction that best suited their spot in the garden.
Also, sorry for any 'odd shadows', I didn't want to use flash for this ... I wanted some natural shading.

Enjoy
mC

: tree is from pieces out of the PotC Cannibals sets, & the Kingdom's Royal Carriage set.
: BF mushrooms
(would love to have BF flowers!!)

This is just pure awesome, I love it! I may have to steal the Sakura design or at least use it as a starting place for my Ninja clan dojo. How are the purple and blue kimono done?

Awesome stuff MC! I really like the use of the greenery!

And yes, how did you do the Kimonos? Decals? Paint?

Looks really nice. I especially like the tree.

Thanks guys!

I'm really happy with the tree. The kits I used are great because they have 3 different shades of brown and a lot of angle pieces.

The kimonos are paper, printed via inkjet, and have a clear fingernail polish coating. Here are the three components if you'd like to use them or make your own.
I made a basic sketch, pulled the blossoms off so I could color, size, and add them individually, and then used photoshop elements to 'color' the dress and blossoms.
The dress should be lego sized. Please note, if standing this dress will wrap around the sides at an angle; you'll see when you do a test print. The back piece gives the waist wrap for the sides as well.
Hope it helps.

I do have ideas for a dojo planned, but need to collect the lego pieces.

I too like the way this looks. The tree, the figures, the path to the garden, they all look real nice.

You should be proud of this MOC. :D

Good idea. I'm thinking of using the LU's Tree Fortress design as my base idea, and then adapting it to what I want.
