So I am considering an order and had a random idea while looking at the pauldron. What I need to know before I can make a decision is how easy it is to cut or puncture the Brickforge Pauldron? Also, how well does a minifig head fit with one or two on?

They are, in my opinion, comparitively thinner than other elements, so I'd geuss they'd be fairly easy to cut up. My experience with ABS is somewhat limited though, I'm more used to hacking through a softer plastic, the stuff scale models are made of.

By my experience the pauldrons don't effect the way the minifig head sits in any way. Or do you mean multiple layers of pualdrons/neck armour?
edit: Or are you talking about the soft pauldrons?

Yeah, I was referring to the soft pauldron, not the other ABS ones. I suppose I should have made that clearer in my original post. Good to know the others are a bit thinner though.

Dunno how helpful this is to you, but here is a picture of a minifig with 2 Pauldrons.

So, if I am looking at the picture right, two will fit and cause the head to be a bit high but otherwise secure. I can live with a height discrepancy amongst figs. It's not like they are Stormtroopers. But, how easy would it be to push a sewing needle through that material?

Yes the head will be secure. The pauldron is made to be flexible around the body.

And yes you can puncture it with a sewing needle. The pauldron is the thinnest of the plastic rubber accessories.

Wonderful! Thanks all for the help. Looks like I have an order to place in the near future and then a project to start.
