Character creation, in other words. We have an "idea list" of different occupations for people's characters, that way everyone's character is unique and not all "tough guy gunslingers." I'm thinking, at least judging by the way things have been going, that Gunner, James, Liz, Carl, and a couple others are exiled to the New Jersey Badlands by Harry. They have to fight Jersey Devil mutants (animals that were affected by radiation, perhaps, or zombies, or actual Jersey Devils from the Pine Barrens), mohawked Jerseyan nomadic gangs, and other various enemies and have to survive off things they find. They have allies and enemies (people's created characters). Please make sure to read the story before creating a character.

He soon welcomed ex-Rebellion marine Gunner Patterson, and was partially responsible for Gunner's promotion to leader of the clan's militia. When Harry assassinated Granpa Rick to seize power, he targeted James, Gunner, Gunner's wife Liz, and Carl Robertson first and plotted to exile them to the New Jersey Badlands.

Grew up in PA Dutch neighborhoods, never really enjoyed his background nor was he proud of his ancestors. He joined up with the Nazis as soon as they came around, but came to realize their ideals were not the ones he believed in. He is now trying to repent for his deeds by rebelling and fighting Nazi terror where ever he finds it. He is familiar with their tactics and is good at disguising himself to infiltrate the Nazi ranks. He speaks fluent German and English, and in happier times, played bass for a local rock band. He still carries his bass and amp in his Jeep, although he hasn't been able to plug it in and rock out in a long time.

Wears a tattered gray hoodie over a black 'Muse' t-shirt, khaki cargo pants. Has two pairs of his beloved Chuck taylors and one pair of combat boots he scrounged from the Nazis. Carries around a Nazi backpack and a full uniform set, complete with his name on them. His bass [orange bf guitar] and amp reside in his Chevy Blazer (idk if they made those in the time frame we're talking about, if not, it's an SUV of some sort) in which he also resides. He has a mounted Tommy gun on the roof and carries an assault rifle and plenty of ammo in the passenger's seat. His katana is on his lap as he drives, and he is always ready for a fight, to kill some stinkin' Nazis, as he says.

Awesome! You can count on me to stick 'im in! A tech guy should be interesting; maybe he helps people restore scrounged vehicles and electronic stuff? Perfect addition to the team. Chevy Blazers wouldn't appear in this apoc timeline, but a German-made SUV will work fine.

Name: Gunner Locket Patterson

Specialty: Brawn over brains, most of the time. Expert at lying, (good at poker) not bad with a shotgun, can machete things up pretty good, good at getting money (fair means or foul) and stellar at parade deck etiquette, tactical formations, maneuvers and such.

Equipment: Cigarettes, waterproof notebook, .10 gauge shotgun with 10-round tube magazine extension (usually), machete, rucksack full of supplies (medical, rations, cigarettes, stuff like that), wide-brimmed brown hat with a cardinal feather in it, tight Wrangler jeans, bomber jacket, aviator sunglasses and lots more cigarettes.

Backstory: Country boy, born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, on a huge cattle farm. Inherited billions of dollars worth in USD, only to find that it was completely null and void in the German system. Fell in love with Elizabeth McTavish at the age of 13, married her at the age of 17. Enlisted in the United States Rebellion Marine Corps. at the age of 19, 'retired' when the rebellion was crushed, has been an 'All-American' since, and absolutely despises all Germans, no matter what.

Current Location in Pennsylvania: Robertson HQ, "But that's not gonna change pretty damn soon."

3 Specialty: Officer in the militia run by a supposed Nazi Collaberator government... In reality, the Bundstaat Pensylvania (or as the residents who know the truth call it, Freischteet Pennsilfaani). He graduated from the basic officer training program at the Army War College in Carlisle, and is in charge of gettings arms convoys from the Letterkenny Munitions depot in Chambersburg to the New York City garrison and back (as well as escorting Ore shipments from Erie). Excellent shot with his Sturmgewehr 57 assault rifle and his Mauser c-96 pistol.

4 Equipment: Sturmgewehr 57 assault rifle with passive infrared scope (made at the Letterkenny Munitions depot), Mauser c-96 pistol (9x19mm), ammo pouches, stahlhelm (dark grey), and Pennsylvania Brandschutz uniform (olive green)... Wears a dark-blue peaked cap and dark blue dress uniform with a saber.

5 Back Story: Born and raised in one of the few stable areas in the region long after the invasion (aged 25), but shares most of the locals (primarily PA Dutch) disdain for their German "cousins" racist, nihilistic policies, and their joy in finding creative ways of obeying the letter of the law while urinating on the spirit... A prime example is the fact that, by law, everyone must speak German in the occupied US... Since no particular flavor of German is specified, everyone in the Freischteet Pennsilfaani speaks Pennsylvania "Dutch" German, among other things. He joined the Brandschutz in order to help reclaim the state from the roving gangs of bandits and various feudin' clans that have left much of the rest of the state in constant chaos.

Okay so before I give this any more real consideration, I have to ask two questions. The first is what is the state of New York City, other than occupied? The second is a bit longer and involved. Understanding that this is dealing with a timeline in which Nazi Germany has occupied a good chunk (all?) of the U.S. and what their stance was on most other races, are there any Hispanics left in the U.S., and if so are they "free" (not in death camps)?
