The Multipurpose Anthropomorphic Robotic Intelligence (MARI) is a popular synthetic model in the Dominion. They are used for tasks that are tedious and routine, too difficult and time-consuming for humans, and by the military for war 'games' and target practice. Their intelligence is relatively basic and, depending on the complexity of the task, require a human 'master' to oversee their actions.

MARI are also capable of complex communication with humans and, for their namesake, have feminine voices, although 'male' versions do exist.
