I check Lego's site and didn't find mention of this. It releases early May.

Lego wouldn't mention it because it is a preorder through Gamestop.

I only ever played the SW Lego game... I feel like I would need to play them all... (and Maybe I will) Looks fun though.

DNagel: the games have gotten some better since the SW series, they do make a nice distraction when you want something amusing.

Ooh, exclusive minifig! Now I have to decide between this and LSWIII.

I like the Batman game. Got it for fifteen bucks off of Costco.

If I had to choose, it would be PoTC. I mean think about it, how many SW games ave to be made to make everyone realize it is the same crap over and over?

Then again, all the Lego games is the same generic crap... :P

The game would make a nice addition to my selective selection of the Lego games. I don't have them all, never will; but I do grab the few that I find the most amusing.

The real question is ... is the unique collectible Jack Sparrow minfig worth the $50 ...
I agree, I could easily grab the game later when it's half price.

After playing the third one I care to dissagree with this statement. Of course a lot of the stuff is the same. The same limitations, lots of the same characters etc. But in the new one there are actual battles and you can command troops if you're a comander. Which is axtremely awesome IMO. It adds like a RTS element to it. You can't simply focus on yourself you need to look at the larger scenario and stuff. For those who haven't played it. It's the best of the LEGO games so far.
