Raiden is the eternal God of Thunder and former protector of Earthrealm. He is one of the few original characters, debuting in the first Mortal Kombat arcade game, and one of the few to appear in every generation of the series.

The fig itself is actually an update of my original Raiden fig. The updates include more detail on the robe, the head and hat.

* Head is brassoed by me (originally Jango head) and eyes also shopped in by me
* Fabric tunic is MMCB
* Plastic robe is Sidan Toys

I ordered some of the new tactical gear for my MGS figs (one of the vests happens to be on my Chris Redfield fig), and also the hair for my Zelda.

I personally recommend picking up some of the weapons (especially ones in interesting colors), and get whatever armor you can get.

That is one great Raiden fig! While all of your incarnations of this fig have been amazing (it seems to be the third), this update seems to really nail it.

On a somewhat related matter, all of your Mortal Kombat figs are amazing. Any plans of revisiting/updating the project? Not that any of them need it, I just love to see what you come up with for this series. It may have something to do with playing the first two games for a large part of my younger years.

One more thing, did you get it from minifig cat or somewhere else?

I am slowly updating them. I am also working on a MK3 Kano. I also have an unfinished Sektor and Cyrax and Jade. :P

And I did wanna make Bo' Rai' Cho', Kenshi, and Frost. None of the other newer characters really matter to me. We'll see.
