Minimum's can serve many purposes. I would think that some of the reasons are these: It is not cost effective to use resources to pack and ship such small shipments. Think of it this way, I would rather pack 10 $10 orders that 100 $1 orders. Packing that many orders would take more time to do and cost more money for BF to spend on packing material. If that were to happen, the price of shipping and handling would increase. Another reason is this, Brick Forge is not only a customization online store, it is a business. If I were to not have a minimum of $10, I would miss out on the oppurtunity of selling more items that way. Example: I wanted only a Cow, a pair of Vambraces, and Hero Sword. That would come to $7. By me having to spend $3 I would have to
try other items. So I buy a Battle Helm, a Spiked Mace, and Knight Shield, which puts me over the minimum. Now I get other pieces I would not have bought otherwise, and guess what?.....I love the Battle Helms.....so now I have to get more of them for some soldiers and buy even more BF stuff. It's a marketing stragedy. Nothing wrong with that. Lastly, it's a learning process. Some people have money in their pocket that is burning a hole in it. A $10 minimum makes you
save your money to buy something. Lesson learned. Just my opinions and not official word mind you
