Not sure if anyone has suggested this before, but I've always been frustrated with the options for wolvering / shredder type claws.

This may be tricky to do since the parts are so skinny, but my idea for these claws is to have a vambrace with additional spikes protruding forward over the hand.

This would allow the use of the hand for other things and give the appearance of spikes projecting from the back of the hand...

Sounds good to me! Some other guy also suggested a sorta 'Vambrace-add-on' type thing.

someone has requested wolverine claws and like khopesh97 has stated that another guy requested add ons to the vambrace. Still I like this idea. +1

speaking of Vambraces, just realised I have none. go figure.

MegaBloks has a very decent version. Although they are hard to come by.
