I greatly condensed the set but I think I kept the idea mostly intact: a (very) small fort+town combo with some tall houses/towers and crane and boats and stuff. To justify the size I decided this is set along a major trade route but is fairly close to a larger town (which is just enough past said trade route that it itself isn't very convenient). I think it's a fair adaptation.

You did a great job!
I like the 'tier' look by putting the different towers close together. Your ship is sweet, likin' the green and white.
Also, I agree the vines are an excellent touch.
