I saw this too, then I realized that it is a hook sword. And lets be honest, it is a simple design.

Lets face it, Lego is starting to think outside the box along the lines of BF, so more "coincidental similarities" will be more common.

It looks a lot like Amazing Armory's Cyborg Armor.

I thought it was $90 a year. I'm not willing to pay that much for a game (even if it's $86, still no). I do hope they make the Universe stuff in real Lego though.

I had figured if the game went well they might introduce the universe characters and some sets in actual bricks... but I'm not sure how well the game really did. I know they made one minifig that came with early order and a little spaceship... but that's it

Fun game though. And I agree that TLC should make the armor. Like in some sort of pack! There would be different packs with just the armor so you could make your own fig to go with them.

That would be pretty cool. I know there are different factions in the game... so maybe battle packs of weapons and armor to follow that.

I know that sales of the LU game have been plummeting, and Lego probably would make a lot more money from this if they made battle packs of the factions. If they stays mostly true to the armor shown, they would sell like hotcakes. And yes, TLG has been getting quite a bit of inspiration from BF recently.

Well I may post the pic of the new Essembly dude. It looks like he's wearing a mix of ancient Aztec armor and a submarine. Quite..Erm, strange looking. The Venture league guy looks fine.

And yes, my Mom says that TLC has been copying BF's design and stuff to provide eye candy that'll bring back their customers who have gone to BF for parts.

I also remember this quote: "Imitation is the best form of flattery"

You have spoken quite truly my friend. I still hope to meet you on LU someday...
