All cons have that, but coordinators
do watch over their areas. But if something is damaged or stolen, not much can be done about it. And even if you were there yourself, same thing can happen. I've been a coordinator for 5 years. I know how this crap goes down. :P
And if you keep displacing trust in others like this, others will see that and not send in mocs. That is how these cons survive is by mocs and attendees. No mocs = nothing for attendees to see and therefore no attendees. Show some support for your local con.
Besides airlines and hotels have that same warning. So how are you going to travel if you can't trust the people you fly with or the people you stay with?
And I dunno, I'm not a vendor.
