Sure, a lot of us have used a dremel tool to hack apart LEGO elements. The cut-off wheels make quick work of ABS, and makes the job that much easier. And we know that once a cutoff wheel gets dull, but not chipped, we just throw it away. I've had a little stack of dull wheels that can't be used on ABS anymore, and I had an idea. This is that idea:

I took three cutoff wheels, used a razor blade to enlarge the pinhole a little bit, glued them together, then stuck a rod in for a handle. I also took a 4L Technic Bar with Stud, cut at the stud and glued the stud to the front. This adds playability and customization: Alone, it makes a decent boss. You could add a stud to it, and have a larger boss. Add a bayonet or similar pointy object, and you get a scottish targe shield.
As far as I know, this is original. I haven't ever seen this done before.
