we all remember their BTR line, well it looks like Hasbro is at it again with a new line called Kre-o's:

Not sure how I feel about this... I'm a big Hasbro fan with their SW and GI Joe lines but a "Lego" type building block line... N2S

I always have mixed opinions about Lego copies. (they are cheaper, but I find it hard to mix it in with my real Lego!) however their transformers range looks fairly good and has some unique parts so I think I might purchase some.

depends on what kind of cool accesories they might include... I"m sure we'll see some sweet guns with the line.

The weapons are mostly missiles and guns that fit onto the mini kre-ons (sounds too much like crayons IMO) but there are some big guns on the big models.

The only people who could ever reach the level of Lego awesomeness are the custom venders. Other than that, it is always a fail. Besides, I have seen MOCs that are jets that can transform to robot, no dissasembly required.

The fact that they don't actually transform is a MAJOR downfall, you can follow instructions for real Lego transformers on eBay and whatnot. Also I agree nothing can beat Lego other than Lego accessories!

Epic fail.

I had quite a few BTR sets when I was little, and their basic bricks were the closest thing I ever found to real LEGO. But... the instructions were terrible. :( Absolutely awful. Plus, the figures were less than impressive. Plus, if you followed aforementioned instructions, they fell apart, not because of bad brick-to-brick suction, but because of just plain poor set design. :\

Plus, the name Kre-O's stinks on ice. :9

The Crayons, err I mean Kre-Os are in my opinion, a horrible thing for hasbro to do. First they complain about LEGO's StarWars magnets (which led to ALL magnets being glued to the brick), and now they dare to try and make a crappy clone brand. They kinda tick me off.

Sorry to have to wax a little political but...any company who has to sue or complain that another company ripped them off should have their doors closed. This is a capitalist-based country. If you product sucks no one will buy it. If there is a cheaper version of same or better quality you are going to fail. I think TLG has a higher quality product hence why they are successful. The fact that Hasbro sued/complained to lego about about the Magnets is outrageous! X| If hasbro was afraid they should have been Lego is very popular but I don't see magnet or minifigures competing with action figure IMO. No one likes to see money lost and when they do they point fingers and complain about others (Hasbro). Suck it up and make good products or I won't buy it. That includes lego!
