Hey, it's my opinion. And I'm sure you are right that they aren't all the same - nothing can be perfectly the same. And I never said they were. I gave a generalization of my opinion. And for the record, my opinion was forged from any and every game, movie, or book I've had the displeasure to read about elves. And no, I don't watch LoTR. Never have, and don't plan on it. Saw it when I was younger, and didn't care for it, and I just really don't want to give it a chance. I avoid LoTR when at all possible.

What about the original Viking mythology about elves? However this is quite off topic.

First off I love this MOC with a passion.

TSOL you apparently don't know that much about elves. Although humans cover a wider range of skills they do so with less actual... well skill than elves do. Elves train to near perfection in their chosen skills. Also a well placed arrow can be much deadlier than multiple blows from a sword or axe. Of course I prefer subtlety where as you like in your face. Which I have no problem with. They both have their place on the battle field.

As you showed me in PM, the Norse mythology is my sole exception, and its a pretty badass exception.

Nope. Not the slightest desire. As for why, it never looked appealing to me. I'm sure if I watched it I might feel different, but as I said, I don't want to get myself into it. A good part of the universe is just a rip from Norse mythology. I've read online that they do infact take multiple stories from it and alter it slightly, and threw it in the Tolkien Universe.

I know that elves are more skilled than humans. But humans, as you said, have a greater range of their skill. Sure, elves are faster, smarter, and more dexteritous, but I prefer humans because they are like a midpoint between all skills. They aren't too varying.

That's the best part of a Fantasy realm... Anything is possible!
