My Lego world needed more blondes, so I painted a few hair pieces.

Same elf as before, but I painted the helmet with silver to go with the color combination.

I really like the top blonde hair! and the Elf is great too... I cant say this enough that I think the elf mini is my favorite mini right now... (until series 5 Dwarf comes out) I think all he needs is a dark green plume from the new kingdom line on the top of the helmet.

I go back and forth on whether these helmets need feathers or not. I think they look great one way or the other.

I know what you mean... sometimes it makes it look too tall and kinda funny.

Thanks for the comments. The top hair has a gloss on it, the bottom one does not. I might apply gloss to the 2nd hair piece. The new official plume sits way to high for my liking. The BF double plume looks ok, but also sits high.

Completely agree about the plumes sitting too high... they need to bring this one back

Good choice for the head on the elf too. I think many people get too extreme in the head choices for these mini's in an attempt to make their elves "different" from humans etc.
