The Emoticons are a Post Apocalyptic Gang of former computer programmers who emerged from their think tank after an extreme weekend of gaming and hacking to find the end of the world. Not known as the most powerful or lethal gang, they count on numbers over skill to carry them through to the next day!

Backstory: Julius was the owner of an up and coming computer games company when the Zombies attacked. His years of gaming came in very handy, and his skills translated into killer extraordinaire in the real world, who knew!? He now leads the Emoticons as they look for the last working computer network, rumored to be somewhere in the Nevada desert.

AKA: Silly Sam

Backstory: Born the son of an American Methodist father and a Mexican Catholic mother, Silly Sam is the wonderkid of the gang. At 12, he hacked into the control system of a spy satelitte and moved it so he could watch a ballgame. His confidence (or arrogance) always comes through in his off colored jokes and pranks, which are only tolerated because no one can do what Sam does.

Backstory: Reggie had two loves growing up, computers and kung fu. When not at the dojo practicing his art, he spent his time designing fighting games for the company. He is known as the most serious man left alive, and if you see him smile, he must have just killed a zombie.

Age: 27 years old
Favorite Weapon: Recurve Bow
Backstory: Katie is Julius' girlfriend, but don't let that fool ya. She is one of the fiercest hackers on the net. Known as Kay Woww, she was known to "check out" the competitions new designs before they hit the market. Not as much of a killer than a lover, she uses her bow so she does not have to get her hands dirty, ick!

Backstory: Gil was boy wonder, and at the age of 6 he lost his parents in a car crash. His people skills are never the equal of his programming and zombie killing skills. No one ever asks his opinion anymore, because he can only see the dark side of everything. What gives him joy? When zombies fall under the blade of his hatchet.

Backstory: Avery was always sick as a child, and spent his time on the computer, playing games and talking on forums. He is the teams customer relations officer, and is always ready with a wink and a smile. His skills are derived directly from his gaming experiences, and he likes to keep score as he goes!

History: The skeptic is not a programmer, but part of the cleaning crew that was in the bunker when the world went down the tube. His never ending skepticism has saved the group on numerous occasions, yet he remains an outsider.

Backstory: Lawrence was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and a keyboard in his hands. He takes great joy in breaking into systems that cannot be hacked, and you know he is in when his cackling laugh echoes through the halls. Not known as a hands on killer, Larry is usually the scout, out in front of the team as they move through towns and cities.
