I guess it's ok to do it this way ... ?

Per my suggeston - here's what I've come up with. It won't be a polished and 'lego looking' as yours Napoleon, I'm sure, but here it is ...

Image

semi-front
side
template; fyi: its at 200% so that I could work on it, so it'd need to be half of that.

(I got carried away and did more than legs :{ )
I used the body parts template from the armory ...
I like the front, and the arms & shoulders ... don't care for my leg-side much though.

Really nice work. The legs look good to me, the only issue is the line on the side of the leg does not line up, but that is an easy fix. Good job!

Thanks!
@shmails: yeah, I need to work on that

I'm not satisfied with the sides ... so I'll fix that when I come up with an idea for reworking them ;)

Very cool! Did you do those decals by hand and then scan them into the computer?

Yes, the legs and arms ... I printed the template from the Armory to make sure my design fit.
The torso is from Napo, which is from somewhere else though.

My only advice is to get rid of the tape. :P

Other than that nice work. :)

COOL minifig mC! How did you do those 3 stripes on the lower arm? Are they decals or painted on?

They're decals.
