The Cheif's armour is bland (or rather, MJOLNIR Mk. VI is) but pretty much everyone seems to like it. ODST armour ain't the most snappy stuff either, but it's been hinted that it's being made, I say make Six's armour and let other people mod it to the other members of Noble.
