The 'copied ideas' are expected, and compliments

It'll be interesting to see.

I would bet the gloves are the actual hands, yeah, the ideas could be interesting indeed.

It also makes sense that these would 'match' previous collectables ... making pairs and sets this way gives all pieces more 'value'.

Nah, I think the minifig holds them, just like the Series 1 Cheerleader.

I just assumed it was a bunch of BF products on some customs, right?
I mean, this wouldn't be the first time we've seen LEGO using BF products on their figs, right?

Some of these look like good ideas, but for the most part I feel like LEGO is really reaching now. I feel like they had enough ideas for two or three series of these figures, but spaced those out into five series to get more bang for their buck. The dwarf and the Sherlock Holmes are useless. The Cleopatra is nice, and the boxer is a good idea, although the headgear seams crazy to me (or is he an amateur boxer with a belt he made at home?). If these are the ones they chose to show, what aren't they showing us? Another cop? Or maybe a third X games player? I know, how about a Medieval Jester?

As for the letter, we live in a world where information is passed around the world in seconds, if LEGO does not want confidential pictures leaked, do not print them in a catalogue!

The final point I want to make is about the BF influence rearring its head again. I believe these figures legitimize what BF and companies like this one do. How many companies can say that they inspire the Megacorp that inspired them to start the business in the first place? I just wish LEGO would acknowledge this fact.
