Some of you have seen this, but with the old posts gone, and the talk of hockey items, I thought I'd re-post these. Here is the link to my Brick Shelf hockey stuff. It's still all a WIP. Until BF makes the equipment, my teams will not be complete. I made 12 custom teams and you can see all the jersey's there. I imagine I will update some in the future, but most have Lego related names like the Bricksburgh Stingers (my favorite ;) ), Minifigopolis Knights, Brick Bay Thunder, and more. I've got plans to increase the rink size and use a 4 on 4 format. At one point, I was making the rink to play like the official set, but decided I could do more with a non-game type rink. Have a look and comment on any of it, from the decals, to the team names, to whatever. Enjoy. Oh and one more thing.....

Heeeeeee shoots and scores!!

I don't know if you still have this built (I saw it on your Brickshelf some time ago) but can you take a more detailed pic of the goalie? I have been wanting to make a custom goalie and I thought that your goalie pads were pretty much the best that I've seen (:P More like only. But they're awesome). I've fiddled around with some ideas but I really need some more pieces, I think.

On closer inspection, I've just got one question I think. Are there two 1x2 plates for the goalie and then the headlight bricks with a round stud and a flat 1x2 on front?

I'm working on making a really detailed goalie fig, with glove and blocker and all of that... Eventually.

Yes, that is what the goalie pads are. I used the diver visor for a goalie mask and wanted to get more detailed with it. I was thinking maybe using the plastic from a pop bottle (or soda bottle for those of you not from western PA ;9 ) and using a dremel on it to make the cage. Never got around to it. See what I mean? Better than nothing, but no where near as good as BF could do.

Thanks for the comments. I really want to get back into this theme, but keep getting side tracked. I actually have a better camera now, so those are a few years old.

That's me, streaking down the middle to score. Oh, and it's pronounced "Rough" like rhymes with "Wow" not pronounced "ruff" ;)

Are you gonna give them new sticks? ;)

The movement is great though!

A pop bottle cap sounds like an awesome idea, and I've got enough bright green ones (cookie to whoever tells me what brand of pop I drink) to make some awesome ones.

I tried using some random plastic box inserts that I've got a lot of to make a facemask, didn't work too well. But they make great shoulder pads... So player gear would be easy with that stuff and some green stuff.

If BrickForge makes the sticks, of course ;). I like how they lean like they are skating myself.

@hawkxs go for it. I am so far behind in my projects, I dunno when the next time I can mess with them will be.
