Quickblade is a name I picked long ago when I needed a last name for my D&D character. The character was like a medieval/fantasy version of a Billy the Kid at the time I was looking for a last name. I wanted someone that was quick on the draw, and it made sense. It also sounded way cooler then Lightning Sword, which is what Quickblade means. I like lightning, I like swords :P. I use 22 in there on other forums because it's my favorite number. Years ago, I used the name Aries in refrence to my zodiac sign, but too many people were using it, so I needed something different.

I can still change user names, so shoot me a PM if you want it done. Same rules apply. You have to be a member for at least 1 year. Keep in mind that you may confuse some others for a while. If you want the "The" removed from your name, just give me a shout. It's not really a bother, just not sure how "quick" I'll get it done ;P

Scipio Blade....heh. "Scipio" I got from the "Thief Lord" by Cornelia Funke, and blade because of my old username "petersword26"- petersword is a reference to Peter Pevencie's (from Narnia) sword, Rhindon
So Scipio and Peter are my characters now...as well as my usernames. Yup.

Love the Thief Lord.

I am fascinated by hawks. My runescape is hawk0078, because I was obsessed with spies and stuff when I made it, and hawk007 was taken, so I put an 8 on it. I joined a runescape forum (tip.it, tell me if you're on it) and made my name hawkxs because I've never been fond of strings of numbers, and I had recently seen a televised paintball tourney with a team called INXS (in excess) and I thought the play on letters was really cool... :P Since then it's stuck because I like it and can't think of anything else... So it's my DA and flickr too. A lot of people call me 'Hawks' which I find kind of funny (just missing the x or not pronouncing it) but I like it too, considered changing my name to that on TIF. I had an RP character for a while named Hawks, I might make a sigfig if I think of something appropriate for the name.

Well, mine's a fairly long story.

When I was in my Bionicle phase (starting at about 2006), my favourite Toa Inika was Matoro. When I made a username on LEGO.com, I made it Matoro3641 (don't ask about the 3641 ;) ). After that, I went by the fake name Matt Orion in emails and such, as it was sort of like Mat-oro. Then, when Gecko and HK kindly introduced me to the BrickForge Forums, I was over my Bionicle phase and wanted something new. I didn't simply want a plain name as my username, I wanted something better. Thus, I gave up on Matt and decided on Oreo. I was playing around with the ideas of Orion, Orio, Ordie, Ordo and Odd. :9 Thus contrived from were the names Oreindor, Jaak Onidor, Orion, Officer Oreo and so on and so forth.

Cheers. :9

Yeah, that was the year of my Bionicle phase, too. Very interesting backstory; I thought you just liked Oreo snack cookies. :9
