Currently I've been playing Mercenaries 2, which is a pretty fun game. Not much like taking a Huey-- er, 'Castro' Gunship and leveling a few city blocks, or grappling up to an enemy helicopter and tossing the pilot out and then destroying that tank that's been bothering you.

For those who missed it, a few notable things in gaming news are:
Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is planned to come out next year. (11.11.11)
Mass Effect: 3 was announced this year. (2010)
And 343 Industries, the new caretakers of Halo, mentioned a Halo 4.
That's all I know about.

I'm both excited and worried about all of those.
edit:Oh and there was something about Portal 2 I heard.

Portal 2 is supposed to be amazingly crazy as usual!

of course, being this is lego minded, remember about the LU (Lego Universe MMO), its actually pretty entertaining.

A game that I am anxiously waiting for is Homefront which comes out in March. Plus, you can't forget Modern Warfare 3. Oh, and my xbox live expired but is still working for some reason. Don't I feel lucky?

I've recently been playing 3D Dot Games Heroes for the PS3 (my friend got it for me for Xmas because he knows I love RPGs), and I love it. It is an amazing homage to old school rpgs for the NES, particularly Legend of Zelda, and makes other references to games as well and even breaks the 4th wall a lot. I totally recommend trying out the game, and reception has been positive so it isn't a letdown for sure.

As far as games go, I am a huge, huge fan of the Final Fantasy series, as well as the Metal Gear and Castlevania series.

Goldeneye is awesome!

I got Tetris Party Deluxe for the DS for Christmas; if you have a DS and like Tetris, you have to get it!

Rhythm Heaven is pretty fun too, just hard to get the hang of.


3DS is slated to come out Q1/Q2 of 2011, so be on the lookout.

The next game I want to get for my Wii is Raving Rabbids.
