Exactly. England had no love for the US in the real Civil War, with multiple close-calls. Ever read about the Trent Affair? As a matter of fact, take a look at the bottom of the page in that last link. It'll show lots of different countries involved in the American Civil War.

Already started writing the rough draft of the first chapters of the sequel.

At first, I was going to call the next one A Nation Divided 2: Yatta Yaata Random Title. (This first story was actually A Nation Divided: A Story of the Fall of the Union) However, with the introduction of all the breakaway countries, including Idaho and Colorado in the final chapter, that title would seem to still focus on the North versus South. In the next book, at least at the beginning, it's going to be Deseret versus Colorado, so that title doesn't really fit.

So shoot me a more exciting version of this name:

A Continent Divided: A Story of the Times after the Union.

Remember, what I'm basically trying to get across is that its becoming like Europe, with a bunch squabbling independent states all competing to have more tanks and "aero planes" than the other states.

Also, for fun, how 'bout naming me a few fictional auto companies. Example: Rocky Mountain Motors. Cars will now be in it a LOT, so it'll add polish to describe the makers.
