Sorry I have not been active for a little while, I have been pretty busy lately.

This is a new idea I have been working with. The LEGO saddle has alway driven me nuts, and I have been looking for an alternative idea. Here is what I have come up with:

The saddle was cut on the sides to allow the leg to slot in better, and the saddle is stuffed with clay to allow the parts to stay in place. What do you think? This is a WIP, so any feedback would be great, thanks!

Nice! I wouldn't want to have to cut my saddle, but it does look much nicer than standard position.

While it looks closer to what a regular rider would look like, it just looks so unnatural for a minifig to the point of disturbing. 8o :? :{

I really like it. I don't think it's disturbing at all.

I like the look of this better than the non-modded version.

Thanks everyone! I always found the original one very disturbing.....sitting inside the horse?!? Come on LEGO! I like this look, it just needs some tweaking, I am even considering making a custom element that replaces the saddle with a saddle/legs combo that the torso sits on? {:D

oooh now that might be nice basically it would be a saddle with legs on it, and you clip the minifig torso on that, Right?

That I would buy if BF took your design and sold it. :)
