well went to my local TRU, they had a bunch of boxs on the counter and with very little gone thru, even picked me up a fisherman since he'll be one of the hardest to find, but the price prohibited me from buying more ($3.99 ea.

TRU, LEGO Stores, even WalMart had some, I think.

I've only found them at a TRU, not at Target, haven't looked at Wal-Mart. Didn't get any because price was listed at $4.49 (was probably actually that, or $3.99. Still not worth it). I am going to write a very angry letter to TRU and Lego saying that this ought to be illegal. Price-jacking is not okay, they have them at Meijer locally (series 2 though) for $1.99 each.

EDIT: TRU had two cases in the Lego aisle, one was opened, missing maybe 10-15 figs. Not many have bought them because they're so expensive, so we're watching them to see if the price drops.

I scored 6 figures today at my closest TRU today. It was buy one get one half off. I was able to guess which each one was and got 2 elves, a tennis player, a baseball player, a DJ, and a Hula Girl. They had about 6 boxes of them mostly full. What really fired me up is a manager came by and said they were taking them up to the registers as I was going through them. I already had 5 of the 6 picked out and he left one box. When we went to check out, they were nowhere to be found. I find TRU's tactics on promoting these figures pathetic. Ya jack the price up to $3.99 instead of the original $2.50 price, then hide the product. Getting me irritated and angry is unwise in any situation, but when it comes to my Lego, someone is begging to get hurt. I found the 2 elves before the boxes were relocated, so I let him slide
