What do you use to make decals, as in what sort of program. I need it soon for Omicron's Contest. Thanks!

I download .psd files of decals from Classic Castle and edit them to suit my needs if needed, or take pictures of existing torsos and edit them into vector like stickers.

I use the GIMP for all my image editing needs. It's free and basically like Photoshop.

I use Photoshop. Currently, I only have the skills to change the color or a few small details.

I use Adobe Illustrator. It's a little trickier to figure out than Corel Draw but I think the designs look better on it.

It might sound outdated, but I use Microsoft Paint. I mainly recolor and copy, paste, resize and slightly alter. For instance, recolor the pirates imperial soldier decal and copy and paste different belts, buttons, and other details. It takes patience to use, though.

How do you get curves and lines on Adobe Illustrator?

@Napoleon: Not at all. I used paint for years.

@faligi: Why, with the pencil and line tools of course ;)

I didn't know you could recolor decals in paint! Now I don't have to try and get on the one computer that has Photoshop at my house.

Yep! It takes patience, though. You sometimes have to zoom in to get all the pixels' colors changed.
