Hi, I was just curious if anyone has a preferred way of removing print from lego pieces.

This may seem a little gruesome and weird, but I use a knife. I scrape it along the printing with the blade perpendicular to the printing. I know how to do it right, but it I need a better method.

I use a very fine grain sandpaper and sometimes make up remover (does not always work.)

Use brasso. But, I use a pencil eraser.

Other than the dremel, this would be a great investment for your customization needs.

Seconded! With an eraser's "guideableness," I can take, say, a bearded fig head and leave the mustache and vice versa.

If you apply scotch tape, you can protect parts you don't wanna erase and brasso the rest.

I did that for Reptile's head, Scorpion's face, and Baraka's tunic.

Not even necessary. I did this by using some brasso on the tip of a toothpick. You can get pretty accurate
