Two quick questions regarding the beret. 1) What is it made of? 2) Have there been connection issues with the top of minifig heads?

I noticed that the attachment on the inside of the beret is not a complete circle and thus may affect 'cluching' power. I'm also wondering if the material is more flexible too.

If no one has experienced this, please let me know.

I have several, some red, med blue, and the dk green with emblem.
Most of them hold fine, though I have one or two that fit looser ...
The materials are the same, from what I can tell, as the rest of BF's stuff.

The couple that don't hold, I just added a tiny bit of putty and the work fine.
If one is chipped ... the dot of putty would take care of it.

Hope that helps.

They are the hard plastic as opposed to the soft plastic that BF uses, if that is what you meant specifically.

My black beret used in my Brickbusters comic holding power is a little weak. If I'm careful, though, it stays on. The holding power is kinda like LEGO's pith helmet.
