So, which style do you like better?
Classic style (Pre-Town Jr.), which uses classic tires, actually practical doors, 4-stud wide trucks, or the new "smooth" style introduced with World City, which relies on studless techniques, smoother, sleeker looks, and has 6-stud wide trucks?
I like both, but I like classic town the best. It just feels more like Lego. And because they're easier to build without more sophisticated parts.
I could have also included Town Jr./City Center but I know that everybody hates them. In my personal opinion, I have a love-hate affection for them - they're crude, simplified, but I grew up with them (shame on me, at least I had some sets from the early 90's).

why do people make it so hard to choose, i prefer modern/sleek for most of what i'm doing now, but i would like to buid castles and a few modern(more blocky) military scenes(if i had anything but my irritating rainbow of parts) so...

not your fault, and you just need to find creative ways to use them, i'd give an example, but i can't think of one right now

Uhmm... I've always been a "Castle guy", so I'm not really attached to the City sets, and overall in this poll nostalgia plays a big role.
The classic sets have their charm and I can understand why some go crazy for them, but I must say I like the new stuff better.

Well, from the title you can tell I'm asking town fans like me.
And I swear I'm not blinded by nostalgia, I didn't even grow up with those sets (they weren't even available back then to the masses, so even my parents had no collection).
Then again I'm a terrible uncreative builder and I should feel ashamed.

I actually love Town Jr.. I voted for classic town though, because I hate new-esque town except for Res-Q and Town Jr.
