Indeed, blay=iron/steel and gray=stone.

Hm...I just can't imagine the BF's great helm looking good in blay. The current dark gray one looks so metal-like to me. I think that blay would just look like....well....plastic.

That's understandable, with currently 54 terms to use.

I would move on, now that there is a, dare I say, finite sourse of gray bricks in the world.

I would do items in both colors.
But if it has to change I agree with Saber-Scorpion

I was and from time to time still do get upset with the color change. I hate having to look through two greys. Recently, I found this article on what causes plastics to yellow and get brittle. This is one of comments made in the article:

"Instead of using more expensive plastics, manufactures put additives known as stabilizers, absorbers, or blockers into the plastic mixture to reduce the effects of degradation. They also get creative with their use of pigmentation.

“Since most discoloration is toward yellowing, some manufacturers add a little blue to neutralize the yellow,” Deanin said. “This gives a temporary reprieve, but eventually the yellow keeps growing and overpowers it anyway.”

Needless to say my display room no longer uses a CFL.

Back to grey vs bley, go bley! This is the color TLC has gone to then it is only fitting to move along with them.

for the record, looking through my collection, I have very little bley. The bley I do have is still on the set it came in too. so both would be nice, but I can understand the need to move onward... Sounds like a soap opera: Grey, you know I love you, but I do feel the need to see other people... Maybe I'll continue this in the meaningless thread.... yeah.
