The icons get cooler in design and hotter in color as you progress.
Fluffing your post count by submitting non-insightful, one-word or blank posts will result in stripping you of your current rank.

0-4 posts: Someone has to clean up after all the work is done.
5-19 posts: Metal needs water to cool. You need to get it.
20-49 posts: Thanks, Cinderella.
50-74 posts: Clean it up nice and pretty just so we can pound the tar out of it again.
75-99 posts: See those ugly clumps of shards at the bottom of the furnace? Go fetch.
100-149 posts: No blacksmith is any good without his specialized tools.
150-199 posts: A cocktail of acid, dry ice and ammonia does the job. Have a nice day!
200-249 posts: Pulling tongs away at the last minute = giant lump on your head.
250-299 posts: Steady the hand or pull back a nub.
300-349 posts: Assembly line drudge that kicks out frequent results.
350-399 posts: More muscle than mind, but we don't expect much anyways.
400-499 posts: If you managed to get this far, you must be full of hot air.
500-749 posts: Capable of putting some really awesome pieces together.
750-999 posts: Cut these guys and they'll bleed flux!
1000-1499 posts: Likes to chop things up, but is good at smoothing things out afterwards.
1500-1999 posts: Recognized for their notable workmanship.
2000-2999 posts: A proven expert in their field.
3000-3999 posts: Flawlessly designs and fashions notable elements.
4000+ posts: Creates intricate and inspiring pieces of work nobody else can.
Recognized for placing fairly high in a tournament.
Claimed the grand prize in a tournament.
{Officer} Creates, conducts and communicates tournament information.

There are plans to extend the ranking system at some point in time but we needed a good place to start off. Custom ranks for contest winners and other achievements will eventually be included. Attaining some of the higher ranks will earn members certain goodies unavailable through normal channels.

Actually, posts are okay, but much of what had been discussed no longer really applies. I just wanted to clean up this topic a bit. Feel free to post, but only things applicable to the topic. Thanks! And thanks to JediSpring for assisting w/ this.
