Cool contest ideas

Oh. I just thought of another contest idea. How about people need to make a vig, of their forum rank. That way people that build good would have a good chance, and people that customize weapons, minifigs, other stuff, would also have a good chance. I still think the Superhero/supervillian contest is a good idea but I thought I would suggest this one.

A couple ideas for July. A fourth of July parare float. And a contest that has something to do with the Bf forum's first birthday.

I'd like to see a contest where the goal is to design a suit of armor. The armor has to be easily removable, compatible with any standard minifig, and allow at least enough mobility to swing a sword or raise a gun. The minifigs that the armor goes on can't have any added decals or gadgetry, as the goal is for it to work with any unmodified fig.

Why not decals? Does it really matter? If an armor works with a non-decaled fig, than it will work with a decaled fig, because it has the same dimensions. And if by "gadgetry" you mean weapons, then why? Neither decals nor weapons "modify" a minifig in any major way...

By "gadgetry" I'm referring to that the minifig has to be modified for the armor to work. i.e., spikes glued to the arms and legs. The "no decals" is because the armor should be the accessory, not the minifig, if you know what I mean.
