So does the picture have to be on-line on a different site or can you do it for one on your pc?

Does this answer your question? This is how to locate the picture on my computer...obviously doesn't work. Sorry...gotta upload it >.< but it's easy if you use photobucket. There's even a url they give you that has the "" on either side already.

How can you post pics straight from Flickr? I have a Brickshelf but it doesn't let me upload anything...

Well there is a tab when you're posting that says 'Upload Attachment'. All you have to do is select the file from your hard drive or disk and add the file. You can either put it inline so you can see the image or just a normal attachment, hope this helps.

Is this for uploading from your computer onto BF or what Striker was talking about?

This is for uploading from your computer to BF. You can't directly link a picture from Flickr to here, so now I just upload directly from my flash drive, saves coding.

Like this>?
(the tab is located below the text entry box, next to "Options")
Annoying that you can't put text under the attachment

If I remember correctly we've been encouraged to not use the 'upload attachments' button as it uses up more bandwidth. :)

To post images from Flickr or Brickshelf, check out this handy guide by Quickblade.

Ah, but it's impossible for pictures for show up from Flickr on here and Brickshelf has been acting stupid for a long time and most of us can't upload to Brickshelf. Using the attachments is a lot easier and faster then using code.
