Lol, well that sucks. I don't know, doesn't seem like smart marketing, if people are willing to pay money for it. Like, if it's in high demand. I mean, I understand reasons, it makes it special and everything. Money opportunity down the drain.

But then again, probably less about money, and more about awesomeness.

Store still fails.

Dark Gray Powered Assault Commando Armor/Helmet were Brickworld 2008 Exclusives. They will never be sold to the general public.
Dark Gray Megaguns are available by shopping through a special link on classicspace.com. These are a Classic Space exclusive.

I am lucky then, I guess. My friend has it and will trade me for two or three other Space Marines that they sell here! So I shall be getting a Dark Gray SM!!!!

The store got locked because it was using too many resources. Things have been blazing for the past few months so I suppose this comes as no surprise. I'll have to take on a few upgrades to help accomodate the amount of users we have.

I take it you're not a business man :D Demand for an item is often set by availability, and while the set you're talking about would likely be extremely desirable on it's own, the exclusivity greatly adds to that. Besides, like you said it makes the armor something special. I hardly think not selling out is the equivalence of "failure" as you seem to.

As for the store shutting down due to high activity, that's great :D While I was planning on placing a new order, it's great that BrickForge has grown so much.

By store fail, I just meant that you couldn't access it.

Hey, sorry if this is in the wrong place (mods, please move or delete!) the metallic colors made me wonder if these pieces are ever cast in metal?
I have seen a clone helmet in sterling, which is pretty sweet and I am so happily surprised to find these custom parts, I just wondered.
Not that there is that much need for metal, nor do I mean tot ake away from the great stuff being offered. Just wondering.
Thanks!

He he, though it is off topic, no, they are not cast in metal. It would be cool if they were, but they aren't.

Welcome to the forums btw.

I think it would be best to leave this question up to Armothe or Red Bean to answer because none of us know exactly what kind of coloring process they use. Stay on topic and carry on :).

Actually, we are talking about the pieces being cast in metal, instead of plastic.

Any idea when the new pieces are coming out?

Well they are buttoning up some details on the pieces, so it might be a bit.
