Little does our President know the troubles he'll cause himself if he tries to take our guns away.

I for one won't be happy.

Humid and hot all week with 99 and rain at the end of it.

How do you survive?!? I mean, I feel that it's unbearably hot at 80!

Stay inside, which is pretty much my usual thing since the sun burns my eyes. Probably because I spend so much time inside. Which is 'cause, well, you already know...

We're the high 90's, 97 for us yesterday ... and no rain ... just dry.
This past week our weather literally jumped 10 degress (F) a day ... Monday was low 50's, Tue, low 60's (both with tons of rain), Wed low 70's, Thurs mid 80's, Fri 97. Talk about a 'fun weather week'. :o)

@S133: Ha. I live in a dry area. 110 and it's not bad as long as you're not doing very strenuous activity.

@Hikaro: The SMR is going to fire the .308 Winchester. The Saiga is actually a semi-auto shotgun built on the Kalishnikov platform. The SKS loophole you were talking about makes sense. The SKS is a ridiculously popular hunting rifle. You'll find Chinese variants all over the place. They're too prolific to sufficiently suppress.

@Hikaro - Cool story bro! :) I mean that in a serious way.

So my job situation has yet another crazy turn to it. As I was finishing up on Fri morning, the manager decided to get smart with me yet again. I went home and stayed awake in bed for an hour filled with visions of strangulating the life out of her. I go into my other job that I had just came back to to find out the main fork lift driver ( and very problematic employee) didn't come in and apparently didn't call off either. So I make a phone call about 30 mins ago to see what the deal is and begin to negotiate for my return as the main fork lift driver. I'm going in to assist tonight, which will mean if things keep up, I will work an huge amount of days in a row. I might be giving Walmart my 2 weeks notice very soon :). I feel that my best will never be good enough there and that I'll either end up severely injured trying to do my job quickly or just going berserk on management and getting fired or worse.

So one of our chickens was killed by a dog, then I find out my best friend was arrested again, and now I find out one of my uncles is losing the use of his body and mind due to alcoholism. He'll be dead before long. Just the best 48 hours ever. At least I get to go kayaking tomorrow. Probably the last time I'll have fun for a couple of weeks. If I have fun at all tomorrow.

@QBlade: They get away with that because people are desperate for work. Our 'local' Safeway is the same way. Hope things work out for you.

@Mac: hope its a pleasant surprise!

So I got to Vault 112, and I thought I was playing Fallout not Twilight Zone.
