Well everyone this very well be one of my last postings here. The house has sold and the last items shipped overseas.
Birthday came and went with only the wife remembering. For me this was good for I knew others would make a fuss that I didn't want.
Went to visit my cousins in PA only to leave very fast. It's hard to visit a place that has such a strong feline urine smell. Besides there really was no way I was going to get my chair around the plies of "stuff".
Left some of my father's things at my aunt's. She wanted them, including his 1905 Indian motorcycle. If yall didn't know my father passed on Dec 22 last year.
Storage of all the Lego is going to be in the old bakery shop that is part of the house in Kyoto. I have people working on putting an elevator in it. May not happen though. Will just have to hire a gopher to run up and down stairs. Although grand-kids will do nicely.
Both vehicles were approved for use in Japan, which is a plus. The Jeep with fair better there than the EarthRoamer.
Saw my other aunt in Tennessee, wasn't a good visit. Apparently as far as she's concerned dad's death is my fault and I'm going to hell for not being a Baptist.
Visited my uncle (dad's brother) and my great uncle (mom's uncle) in North Carolina. Good visits both. Every ones getting older and slower, but everyone there was happy.
Saw Legoland in Florida, gave the clerk a heart attack at the store there when I bought $10,000 worth of items in one sitting. Was a nice way to spend the last bits of dollars we have.
Said goodbye to many people in New York. Stopped at my family's gravesites. I probably won't ever see them again.
I hope to make one more order here at Brickforge before we go. Depends on timing.
Everyone Play Well and be safe.
