Here's an important question for you regulars. Who here uses Flickr and/or Facebook?

I use facebook a lot. I used to use Flickr back when I was into legos.

I use Flickr, I find it to be simple to use.

Depends QB. I use Flickr for a place to hold my LEGO related pictures and to look at other people's creations. I avoid the discussions and comments as much as possible and have only PMed one or two people a handful of times at best. I use Facebook to keep in touch with friends, family, and groups I belong to as well as to see "news" from some of my favorite businesses or celebrities (fighters count as celebrities, right?). So yeah, I use both but for quite different things.

@Machetero: I'll add you as a contact on Flickr. What's your username?

FB bores me, and I just don't like it when people have 1000 friends or something. I have, like, 20. That's cuz I actually know them, not because some idiot down the line knew his sister's brother's uncle's long lost cousin. :9 After they spam their number of friends, I rarely see them actually correspond.

Flickr is awesome. I spend hours on there. You get grouped with people with similar interests.

EDIT: Oh, and everyone see about that school shooter? I'm glad that murderer is dead. What kind of sick-o does that?

Yes, though the news report we got bugged me. They called him heavily armed, but in my opinion two pistols does not constitute being heavily armed.

Machetero 9. Honestly, if you are trying to find me on most LEGO related places, and even non-LEGO places, check for a "Machetero" and possibly some variation of the number nine (writen out, roman numberals, arabic numerals, etc.). Granted I'm only active here, Flickr, and Bricklink, but I have been known to lurk a few other sites and boards.

@Machetero: Thanks! I'll add you. You're kind of like me, since I use 53 on a bunch of things. You might find me listed some places as "Jamako53." JAmes MAdison KOhler.

I can't figure out how someone didn't stop him. I mean, his brother said he's autistic or retarded, so they should have been able to take him out. Seems like there would have been some teacher big enough to tackle him. And what about reloading? That's the window when you should act, or at least a police chief said that after the Batman Massacre.

And as always, I heard news people going "Glocks and AK-47s!" Srsly, how many times do they say Glock and/or AK over every shooting.

Very few people are willing to put their own life on the line to face down a guy with a gun who has already proven he has no issue shooting other human beings. As for the reloading, if he has two or more weapons he doesn't have to reload until they are all empty. A madman can clearly do a lot of damage before he needs to reload.
As for the "glocks and ak-47s" thing...

Yeah, it just sucks. The fact anyone would shoot kindergartners makes me sick.

Hehe, I think CB posted that chart before. Spot on.

Machetero said what I pretty much was thinking. It's not like the movies where you can just tackle a guy. Especially when it is at a setting that will really catch you off guard.

Good to know about the FB/Flickr info.
