So anyway, the Blue Banditos are a self stylized, Alliance funded paramilitary group that steals the fruits of prison labor from Confederate rim worlds and sells it on the gray market. They are the most feared amongst such groups, and have been a spine in Marshal Brokenridge's side for years. Since all inmates on prison planets except the marshal cannot be armed with modern weapons, convoys are now guarded. Here, we see the Blue Banditos, headed by Roy 'The Barbarian' Bockkner. They are attacking a mining convoy protected by a Confederate Marine Corps Heavy Weapons detachment and a band of Eternal Sun Corp PMCs.

Roy Bockkner is nicknamed 'the Barbarian' due to his tendency to collect the flanges of slaughtered civilians in cryo-cans, and he harbors a hatred of subspieces of humans, only respecting members of the 'pure', unadapted line.. Despite this seemingly insane habit, Bockkner is otherwise quite level headed, a demented chess master. His only love is his illegitimate daughter, Ellena Stone. He dreams of sending her to study at a great academy in the Union, which fuels his privateering ways. His passions include classical art and wine sampling.
